Two Sentence Horror Stories

Two Sentence Horror Stories is an anthology series that was originally produced by the CW, but I actually watched it when it was recommended to me by Netflix. Literally, the series name is an episode that is about 20 or so minutes long about two sentences. The episodes also revolve around every day topics. Like in episode one, the episode is about the two sentences stating “She was stiff and cold in my arms. Then the doll blinked.” How the episode plays out is that this woman met this man on an online dating site. Unbeknownst to her, he actually has a thing about killing single mothers who he deems unqualified to take care of their own children (just think if the kid of one of the moms said “I never want to see you again” and then oops she actually does get murdered, I bet he’ll grow up to not have any mommy issues…).

The series is actually really good until you reach the last two. The last two seemed too…fake. Like the first six where REALLY good, and then they just threw in the flag and said “aight we need to hurry and wrap this up we gotta meet time schedule”. Two Sentence Horror Stories is a really good binge watching series that you can watch in an evening with your “boo” (see what I did there, you Halloween fanatics), with some takeout food and a blanket on the couch. I am looking forward to a second season if they do make a new one, but since I do not have cable, I’ll just wait until it comes back out on Netflix.
