Cast of TREMORS 7 to Include Jon Heder, and the Original Night King, Richard Brake

Over on Instagram, Michael Gross–the actor know for portraying the belovedly enduring Graboid hunter, Burt Gummer–let us know that the cast for the latest installment of the Tremors franchise has collected most of its cast, and that cast includes Napoleon Dynamite‘s own Jon Heder, and the first actor to play the Night King in Game of Thrones, Richard Brake.

The last installment of the franchise was Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, in which the giant worms are being utilized as weapons at a research facility in Canada. The newest film, Tremors: Island Fury, leaves the cold behind and heads for the tropics! On October 2, Michael Gross wrote on Facebook:

Thirty years ago, I was on location for the original Tremors film and, in a month’s time, will be in Thailand to begin filming Tremors 7.

In Tremors: Island Fury, Graboids will be brought illegally to a private island resort where they will be hunted by a rich playboy looking for the ultimate trophy. Of course we all know how that will go for him, but it should be a good time anyway!

The rest of the cast will reportedly include Caroline Langrishe, Jackie Cruz, Cassie Clare, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Matthew Douglas, Randy Kalsi, Bear Williams, David Asavanond, Boonma Lamphon, Aukrawut Rojaunawat, Iris Park as, and Mikey Black.

Sadly, Jamie Kennedy will not be returning as Burt’s son, Travis.

Don Michael Paul, who directed both Tremors: Bloodlines and Tremors: Cold Day in Hell, will return to direct Island Fury. The screenplay was written by Brian Brightly.
